When I was in Bali in 2015 I met a woman named Andrea Featherstone. She walked into the co-working space’s conference room where my role that day was to coach each of the speakers for a multi-speaker event being held later that week in Ubud. After hearing her rough version of what she did through her 6 1/2 minute talk, I immediately fell in love with her and her work and encouraged her to speak again and often. Of course, she was too busy with sold out coaching programs to do anything more than one other live talk before leaving Bali, but it was enough for me to see that I had been totally right in thinking she was indeed “onto something”.
If you want to be more present and spend less time stuck in needless thinking…

These two people have fundamentally shifted the course of my life. Left is Robert G. Smith, the Founder of FasterEFT. In late 2015, after trying many, many different transformational tools, I was ready to learn something new. I starting reading the work of Gary Craig, who created the original EFT (emotional freedom technique) and found it difficult and cumbersome. At some point I stumbled onto FasterEFT and I have to admit, I was a little put off by the name (“faster”, really?) but it was recommended by someone I trusted, and as I started to watch the huge number of free videos Robert has created over the years I realised it was much easier to learn and use than what I’d seen in the original technique.
After watching and tapping along with probably 2-3 videos a night for at least a month, I decided to start working with a practitioner. Enter stage left, Ilka Oster (pictured on the right). Ilka is one of the most gorgeously, joyful, honest humans I’ve ever met. Ever. I met her (online) when I joined her 30 Day Money Challenge, and over 6 months of me repeating the course (because I was getting so much out of it), my appreciation of her, her work and this modality only deepened. I’m hugely grateful to have this woman in my life, and I happily refer anyone who will listen to learn from her.

I met Dr. John Demartini several years ago when I was working with the promoting company in Australia and was lucky enough to attend his signature event “The Breakthrough Experience” twice within 2 months. It’s safe to say the earth shook for me during that period. My life was never the same again.
John created a method for transformation which he calls “The Demartini Method” and it is a rigorous, repeatable progress that any scientist would struggle to question. He’s been doing this work with clients and students for over 40 years. And whilst it’s not for the faint hearted, it is super useful for anyone who struggles with anything that is “woo-woo” or spiritually focused.
His official website, including all upcoming events, is here and since I find “The Demartini Method” (his unique tool for shifting out of a resentment, or the equally unbalanced admiration, into a state of gratitude) is rather difficult to do alone, I recommend working with a facilitator.
Donna Preedy is one of the Demartini Method Facilitators I have worked with and I think she totally rocks (in a very peaceful, strong way that is!). She runs a free 5-day challenge on Facebook to introduce you to this work. You can join the next one here.
Freakin’ awesome work. I cannot recommend it enough.
