A while back, I was speaking with a girlfriend of mine who is also a Projector. We only speak about once a year because we live on opposite sides of the world from one another, and we're both busy with our own lives and businesses.
These big time gaps between speaking give us an opportunity to see how far we've both come in our Human Design journey over the last few years.
She was pretty sceptical of Human Design in the beginning (to be fair, so was I). I remember her pushing back on so much of what I was telling her about her chart. Many years later, she still pushes back on all things Human Design. However, what she's done better than most people is that she's actively engaged in her own Human Design experiment.
So when she told me on our last call that she had started seeing invites that were right in front of her the whole time, you can imagine my delight!
In the beginning, it can be tricky to know what a good invite looks, sounds and feels like. In trying to do it right as a newbie, it can be easy to miss perfectly good invitations that are right in front of us because:
* We're expecting them to come in a particular package, or
* For them to sound a particular way, or
* For there to be particular words spoken to make it a "real" invite.
If you're a Projector who struggles to know what a good invite looks like, please know this is totally normal. I've recorded a few very specific videos on invitations on my YouTube Channel. If you haven't had a good binge through the videos over there yet, then you might like this one and this one.
These will help you to get a better sense of what an invitation looks and sounds and feels like because once you really get this, you won't be able to unsee it.
One thing I know my friend has done to support herself in being able to see these invites that were right in front of her the whole time is to prioritise her deconditioning. Now, she does her deconditioning (aka healing past crap that we all need to do) a bit differently than me, and that's cool. We can all do our deconditioning in different ways.
The important thing is that you do it, and when you do, you'll suddenly discover yourself saying things like this:
"Oh! That was an invite!" Oh, that was right in front of me!"
And
"Oh, look, I've received a kind of invite that I've never received before! Look at that!!!"
That is, it opens your eyes up to see what is already there, but we do have to heal the pain we've been holding in our hearts and our guts and our throats and all of the places in order to be able to let new opportunities in.
And to be able to let them in, we have to be able to see them in the first place.
So deconditioning is essential, and my friend knew this and has been deconditioning in the background throughout her Human Design journey for a very long time.
So kudos to her for actively engaging in her Human Design experiment but also for actively healing the stuff that was in the way. Because it's the combination of things that's created this result for her and allowed her to see invitations that were right in front of her in the first place.
I hope this story serves as an inspiration for you to dig in and to do the same: to actively engage with your Human Design experiment and to keep healing and deconditioning =)
My friend’s name is Steph. If you want to see what she offers, you can check out her website here.
If you know you want more help understanding this whole "invite" thing, you can bring your questions to this kind of coaching session.
If you want support to decondition so you can finally see and receive more of those invites you're craving, I can teach you the most effective deconditioning tool I know in this tapping session.

While AI is useful for many things, it's still not very good at explaining the depth and nuance of Human Design. Instead, human beings who have been learning about and experimenting with the Human Design system for 10+ years are much better teachers of this content.
